Hidden Grounds Coffee recently opened its second Jersey City cafe. Located at 276 First Street — formerly the home of Two Crepes — the new cafe joins their existing Jersey City cafe at 148 First Street.
The new cafe offers a wide variety of coffees, espressos, teas, and pastries. The cafe works directly with coffee farmers and bean suppliers to source the best-tasting, most exotic, and rarest beans. Meanwhile, all pastries and food are made in-house or transported to Jersey City from their New Brunswick location.
Unlike their Powerhouse location, the new Hidden Grounds will specialize in single origin coffees. Although they have pastries, they will forgo the breakfast sandwiches in favor of a more diverse coffee menu.
Currently, one of the menu highlights at the new location is the Midnight Rose, which is a rose latte with a shot of espresso. The drink is served in a martini glass and adorned with rose petals. It’s currently being served in-house only.
The pup-friendly cafe is open daily from 7am till 1pm.
