Folks living at 485 Marin have a new pizzeria at the foot of their home. Sage Eats recently opened at the base of the KRE Group-owned rental. (The pizzeria is located on Marin Boulevard opposite the Newport Mall parking lot).
Sage Eats specializes in healthy pizza made with just a handful of ingredients. Pies are $11 each and run the gamut from a classic Margherita (pictured) to a Spicy Soppressata drizzled with Mike’s Hot Honey. (For the record, honey on pizza is quite delicious!) Gluten free pizzas are also available for an extra $3. (They’re made of cauliflower dough).
In addition to pizza, Sage Eats also offers salads, rice bowls, and dessert (tiramisu or cannoli). The pizzeria, which is operated by Daniela Sarbu of Cafe Esme, is open seven days a week from 11am to 9pm. They’re offering pickup, delivery, and outdoor dining.
