After what felt like an eternity, Hard Grove has finally opened at its new home on 286 First Street.
The restaurant has a bar area, dining room, and quiet outdoor garden. Although they have a full bar complete with homemade sangria, their official cocktail menu is still in the works.
As far as prices are concerned, appetizers range from $7 for a house salad to $26 for the Hemingway Sampler, the latter of which includes a bit of everything. Entrees range from $12 for a Cuban sandwich to $26 for the Skirt Steak (the latter is served with yellow rice and black beans, as are many other entrees).
Wine by the glass ranges from $9 to $12, and wine bottles come in at $18 to $65 with many bottles below $35. There are also some champagne bottles available at $90 and $110 if you roll that way.
A brunch menu — available Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 3pm — features items like the delicious Cuban Breakfast (eggs, saffron rice, Cuban black beans, sweet plantain, toast) for $9 and Skirt Steak & Eggs for $22.
