A new donation center just opened at the Newport Plaza parking lot. GreenDrop is a donation site that allows residents to donate their gently used items to GreenDrop’s nonprofit partner, the American Red Cross.
The Newport Plaza donation center is located at 125 18th Street at the Acme parking lot. A GreenDrop attendant will collect your item(s) on behalf of the American Red Cross. Donors in return receive a tax deductible receipt. You can donate lightly used clothing, shoes, blankets, kitchenware, toys, electronics, and household goods. “We are thrilled to bring our sustainable services to Newport Plaza and provide an easy, earth-friendly way for Hudson County residents to support the American Red Cross,” said Jason Krieger, Director of GreenDrop operations.
The GreenDrop at Newport Plaza is open daily from 10 through 5pm.
