A new business has moved into 172 Newark Avenue. Great Clips has opened its second Jersey City outpost above Palace Drugs along the Jersey City Pedestrian Plaza.
The hair salon is known for offering affordable hair cuts for men, women, and kids. They offer walk-in services as well as an online check-in option, so you can spend less time waiting for your cut.
Established in 1982, Great Clips names itself the world’s largest salon brand with more than 4,400 franchises in the U.S. Their original Jersey City location is at the Portofino Building in Newport at 1 Second Street. The new downtown salon is open Mondays through Fridays from 10am to 8pm and weekends from 9am to 6pm.
