Tribeca’s Gotan Cafe is now open in Jersey City. The New York-based cafe is located at 198 Van Vorst Street next to the Madox Apartments.
Like their Tribeca outpost (130 Franklin), Gotan Jersey City offers Counter Culture coffee alongside a mix of pastries and made to order salads and sandwiches. Their Jersey City location has a very modern, minimalist feel making it a great spot for anything from work to enjoying a solitary cup of coffee.
A few items I liked from their New York menu are also available in Jersey City, including the avocado feta toast. You can follow their Instagram account to see what other items they’ll bring to JC. The cafe is open daily from 7am to 6pm. (The kitchen is open from 8am till 4pm).
