Taiwan-based bubble tea shop Gong Cha recently opened its first Jersey City outpost. The popular cafe has opened inside Newport Mall on the third floor food court. It’s their first location in Jersey City.
Gong Cha offers a wide variety of teas ranging from milk foam teas to their tea slushes and lattes. They also have a “creative” series of teas that includes lychee oolong, lemon wintermelon basil seeds, and honey green tea.
The Newport Mall outpost opened on January 17. They’re located in front of the AMC theater. Gong Cha Jersey City is the second bubble tea shop to open in the neighborhood in recent months. It joins the likes of Moge Tee, Meet Fresh, and recently opened A-Yo Bubble Tea.
