New York-based Glowbar is opening its first Jersey City outpost. The skincare studio, which is known for offering 30-minute facials, is opening at the Jersey City Urby at 200 Greene Street. (They’re taking over the space formerly occupied by Ample Hills).
Glowbar has been on an aggressive expansion as of late with new salons opening along the tri-state area, including one in neighboring Hoboken (612 Washington Street). Founded in 2019 by Rachel Liverman — a third-generation esthetician — the skincare brand offers a membership plan priced at $60 per month. (Membership includes one facial per month). Members also get other perks like one guest pass per year and 15% off retail products sold at Glowbar. If you want to book an additional session in the same month, you’ll pay the membership price of $60 per facial. (Non-members pay $75).
For a limited time, Jersey City residents can sign up to become Glowbar founding members and pay just $55/month for your first four months. Treatments include chemical peels, hydrating masks, LED light therapy, and more. You can learn more about Glowbar’s treatments via their website. An opening date has yet to be announced.
