A high-end convenience store and premium wine shop are opening at Overlook Flats, a new 16-story luxury rental building located at 32 Oakland Avenue in Jersey City’s Journal Square neighborhood. Overlook Market and Overlook Wine & Spirits will occupy two retail spaces totaling 2,882 square feet.
Overlook Market will be operated by the same team behind River Mart at 65 Maple Street and Lenox Market at 207 Van Vorst Street. The grocery will stock with high-end products offering household items, organic food, pre-packaged deli meats, and more. Meanwhile, Overlook Wine & Spirits will offer a wide selection of premium wines and spirits, as well as domestic and imported beer.
A third retail space is also in the process of being leased at Overlook Flats. The new retailers are expected to open to the public this year.
Overlook Flats features studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences with a wide array of indoor and outdoor amenities. Studios start from the $2,500s with limited-time grand opening incentives that include up to two months free rent.
