Vegetarian paella and Swedish meatballs are just two of the new dishes you’ll be noshing on at the newly opened FM Jersey City.
The restaurant — which is located at the former Union Republic space at 340 Third Street — recently posted its menu online.
Bar snacks are all $6, plates range from $8 to $11, and entrees cost from $18 for linguini primavera to $28 for steak and potatoes. Sides, which include grilled corn with manchego cheese and potato cheddar pierogies, all cost $6.
Decor-wise, the space has undergone a complete transformation, but we’re digging its chic 70s vibe. Initial food reviews are also very positive.
You can check out their revamped website and menu via the link. Also, the Historic Downtown Special Improvement District (HDSID) has a full gallery of the restaurant’s interior on their Facebook page. —FM Jersey City

I don’t who wrote those food reviews but when I went everything tasted like it had come out of a box!
This place was real chill and relaxed. Cool vibes. The crowd was a nice mix not to young like some of the the spots in Jc. Food was on point. Drinks were good and not expensive. The beef Wellington was awesome.
Agree 100 percent. I recently went and had a great time. Odd as this sounds, I also loved their playlist (very Motown heavy). It’s not often you hear that old-school music in public.
