Part soufflé, part pancake — Fluffy Fluffy’s airy desserts are coming to Jersey City. Simon Properties has confirmed the dessert shop — which is also known as Fuwa Fuwa — will open on the 3rd floor dining Pavilion at Newport Mall. (They’ll be located next to New York Fries).
Founded in 2018, the Canadian shop offers handcrafted Japanese-style soufflé pancakes known for their soft, bouncy, and light texture. In addition to the pancakes, the Fluffy Fluffy Go menu at Newport will also have savory croffles (a mix between a croissant and waffle), sandwiches, Basque cheesecake, coffee, and tea.
Fluffy Fluffy currently has over 30 locations across the UK, Canada, China, France, and the United States. No word yet on when their Jersey City location will open.
