With sweeping views of the New York skyline, newly opened Felina Steak is the latest restaurant to be wined and dined in Jersey City. Located at 2 Chapel Avenue in Port Liberte (in the former Terra e Mare space), the new restaurant specializes in dry-aged, meat-forward dishes and seafood.
Felina Steak is the first Italian steakhouse from Landmark Hospitality, which also owns nearby Liberty House. The restaurant draws inspiration from sister restaurant Felina (Ridgewood, NJ), but with a stronger focus on steaks, chops, and fresh seafood.
At Felina Steak executive chef Matteo Limoli has created an impressive menu with dry-aged steaks and prime cuts as the star. With a seafood selection that’s just as impressive as its chops, seafood lovers will also be able to enjoy dishes like the Angry Lobster or Pan Seared Scallops. And yes, while steak is the main attraction at Felina, there’s also a plethora of options sure to impress even the pickiest of palettes. This includes a mix of authentic Italian pizzas and pastas.
Menu highlights include: 14-ounce bone-in veal parmigiana; 1.5-pound angry lobster with linguini and fire roasted long hots; and squid ink spaghetti with seafood ragu and Calabrian chili. A few non-meat dishes, such as burrata and eggplant caponata, will also be available. The restaurant also offers an extensive wine list, cocktails, and a selection of beers.
Felina Steak is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 5pm to 10pm for dinner and on Sundays from 12pm to 8pm for lunch and dinner. Reservations can be made by visiting the Felina Steak website or OpenTable. You can also follow Felina Restaurants on Instagram for further updates.
Stork Club opens at Hudson House
Located at the top of the Hudson House is the revamped Stork Club, a members only rooftop bar overlooking the New York skyline. Offering both indoor and outdoor seating, the lounge will specialize in craft cocktails and offer a selection of light bites. Access to the Stork Club is reserved for Landmark Club members only (price has yet to be disclosed). However, guests dining at Felina Steak who live at Port Liberte will also be able to visit the Stork Club for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail.
