DomoDomo Jersey City is officially in soft open mode. The New York-based eatery, which has won a Michelin Bib Gourmand rating for the past three years, is offering lunch service starting Monday, October 7.
Staying true to its motto of providing value for money, DomoDomo is taking 15% off lunch during its soft opening week.
Located at 200 Greene Street (at the base of Jersey City Urby), DomoDomo is serving lunch from Monday, October 7 through Friday, October 11. Lunch service will be offered from the hours of 11:30am to 2:30pm.
Dinner service will commence the following week on Monday, October 14. They will close on Tuesday and re-open for dinner service Wednesday, October 16 through Saturday, October 19. During this soft opening time, diners will get a generous 20% off dinner (from 5pm through 10pm).
The restaurant will officially open on Monday, October 21.
DomoDomo is a family-run restaurant offering a mix of sushi, hand rolls, hot dishes, and cold dishes. They’re also know for their “DOMOKASE.” This omakase-style of dining gives chefs the freedom to choose your meal based on what’s in season. DomoDomo (New York) charges $85/pp for their DOMOKASE. By comparison, other Japanese restaurants in New York can charge twice that amount.
The Jersey City restaurant’s lunch menu consists of sushi and sashimi sets, sweet soy fried chicken, spicy smoked pork belly, and more. (You can check out the full Jersey City menu here).
