A new Eastern European cafe will soon open at the foot of the Pedestrian Plaza.
Dolya Cafe will bring its gourmet blinis to 128 Newark Avenue (adjacent to Atlas Public House). The tiny cafe will specialize in blinis — an Eastern European pancake made from wheat or buckwheat flour and stuffed with sweet or savory fillings. They’re served folded and eaten with a dip. While similar to crepes, blinis have a Slavic history.
In addition to blinis, Dolya Cafe will also serve organic coffee, loose leaf teas, and natural juices.
