It appears we’ve found the first closing of 2019.
Dolya Cafe has been closed since mid-to-late December and has yet to open for the new year. Moreover, the cafe has papered up its windows and online delivery sites are no longer taking orders for Dolya.
Located at 128 Newark Avenue, the tiny cafe specialized in sweet and savory blinis — stuffed crepes — with signature menu items like the vegetarian Figaro, the dulce de leche-based Take 5, and the Fiesta, Siesta.
Dolya also served coffee, loose leaf tea, and seasonal soups. Most recently they began serving coffee outside the cafe on weekday mornings.
The cafe had just celebrated its 1-year anniversary this past November.
