Homemade Italian food coming to the Heights next month
The Heights is about to gain a new Italian eatery. Although it’s been awhile since we last heard from Corto, the restaurant’s owners inform us that they’re on schedule to open in April. Corto will bring affordable, rustic Italian food from Italy’s Piemonte region direct to 507 Palisade Avenue.
Battello could reopen this summer
After its abrupt closure last summer, Battello is reportedly opening to the public sometime in August. Hoboken Girl reports that restaurant management will get access to Battello sometime in June with the hopes of reopening to the public in August, almost a full year after its closure. —Hoboken Girl
St. Patrick’s Week begins Wednesday at Zeppelin Hall
Zeppelin Hall is kicking off St. Patrick’s Week this Wednesday with the debut of a special menu that highlights seven Celtic dishes. The menu includes Bangers & Mash, Corned Beef Sandwiches, Fish & Chips, and a Half-Pound Blarney Stone Burger. The festivities will continue through the week with live music and plenty of green beer.
