CityMD — an urgent care medical center — is opening a new branch at 340 Grove street, in the former home of Willar Furniture Covers (a furniture restoration store that had been in Jersey City since 1967).
With branches in Bayonne, Journal Square, Hoboken, and neighboring New York, CityMD is a walk-in urgent care center designed to supplement services provided by your primary doctor, but with extended office hours and a shorter wait time.
Medical services provided include pediatric care, physical exams, vaccinations, X-rays, lab tests, and more. The centers also accept most insurance plans including Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Medicare.
CityMD is expected to open this fall and will be located on Grove between Morgan and Bay.
