From perfectly pressed Cuban sandwiches to a mouth-watering order of ropa vieja, Heights residents have a new spot to satisfy their Cuban cravings. Casa Cubana Express recently opened at 1007 Summit Avenue. The restaurant is the take-out/delivery arm of Casa Cubana Catering.
Casa Cubana Express offers a mix of Cuban comfort food including vaca frita (shredded beef), arroz con pollo (chicken with saffron rice), and lechon (roast pork). The family-run restaurant is also offering daily specials including soups and a lunch buffet.

The team behind Casa Cubana was also responsible for New York’s Agozar, a 15-year old restaurant located in the East Village. Upon closing Agozar, Casa Cubana made its Jersey City debut in 2017.
