There’s a new burger shop in town. BurgerIM JSQ opens its doors today at 2 Journal Square. The franchise has locations throughout the country. The Jersey city eatery will be operated by New Jersey natives George Mikhael and Oliver Hanna.

BurgerIM JSQ will offer pickup/takeout and delivery starting at 11am. Their menu offers eight different burger options including Angus beef, dry-aged beef, Spanish beef, grilled chicken, crispy chicken, salmon, falafel, and lamb. They also offer fries, onion rings, milkshakes, and a children’s menu.
BurgerIM will be one of the first tenants at 2 Journal Square, joining Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist. Both eateries are located across the street from the PATH Journal Square transportation hub.
They seem to be having a big opening party right now :/ tons of people, no social distancing or masks…. not a great first impression.
