Burger Eatery — the new burger restaurant located opposite Torico’s on 238 First Street — will officially open its doors on Monday, December 21st per its Instagram account. A user on JCList has also pointed out that the restaurant has posted its burger menu online, although the rest of the website is still under construction. The restaurant will take a DIY approach to burgers letting customers choose between a single or double patty, five cheeses, five add-ons, and six spreads. Among the restaurant’s specialty burgers you’ll find:
All Thai’d Up Burger: crunchy Thai peanut sauce, scallion, cucumber, carrot ribbon, and lettuce
Ol’ Blue Eyes Burger: sauteed mushrooms, crumbled blue cheese, crispy shallots, and lettuce
Sunday Morning Burger: cage-free runny egg, melted gruyere, tomato, caramelized onion, and garlic herb aioli.
The menu also shows a few house salads, some sides, (the Pecorino truffle fries sound great), and some sandwiches including a mahi-mahi sandwich for seafood fans and an Indian-inspired meatless option with a Masala-spiced veggie patty and chipotle tahini.
