A lot of new dining options are in the works for Newport, but there aren’t many ice cream/gelato options. That’s about to change with the addition of Buongiorno Gelateria. The new gelato shop is coming to 525 Washington Boulevard, formerly the home of Automat Kitchen.
Not much is known about the new dessert shop, but they’ve been posting previews on their Instagram. One preview suggests they may offer coffee in addition to gelato. Stay tuned for updates on their grand opening.
