One of Jersey City’s oldest eateries is expanding. Buon Appetito, currently operating at 520 Jersey Avenue, is moving into 280 First Street. The space was previously the home of Just Beclaws, which abruptly closed back in December.
Buon Appetito offers a mix of pizzas, subs, and pastas. Back in 2020, they briefly expanded with Rig a Tony’s, an Italian deli and pizzeria. The eatery closed after a few years and now the Buon Appetito team are focused on moving into their new space at 280 First Street. Although there’s no opening date, the new space is already under construction with signage already in place.
