The Australian wildfires are one of the most tragic disasters we’ve seen. They’ve killed at least 25 people, destroyed over 2,000 homes, and killed an estimated 1 billion animals.
While there are many organizations you can donate to directly, Bluestone Lane is offering another option. The Aussie-based coffee house has announced that all profits from its 48 Bluestone Lane locations will be donated to the Red Cross and their Australian Bushfire Emergency Relief Fund through Friday, January 10. This includes the Bluestone Lane Jersey City location at 30 Hudson.
On Sunday, January 26, select locations will hold an additional fundraising event. All proceeds from ticket sales and fundraising initiatives (such as auctions and raffles) will benefit the Red Cross. (The Jersey City location isn’t participating in this event — only the location at 19 Kenmare in New York will participate).
Customers can also make donations at any Bluestone Lane location throughout the month of January.
