The Franklin Debuts $28 Prix Fixe Menu (Monday/Tuesday)
The Franklin just launched a new 3-course, prix fixe tasting menu. The $28/pp menu will be available Sundays through Tuesdays from 5pm to 10:30pm.
Lobster Palooza at Surf City (through August 25)
Good news, lobster lovers. Surf City is extending its Lobster Palooza Festival through Sunday, August 25. Their special lobster menu includes 17 different entrees, including Lobster Thermidor, Lobster Ramen Soup, and Lobster Paella.
Yappy Hour at The Kitchen Step (Tuesday)
Treat your 4-legged BFF to a complimentary soft serve, dog-friendly ice cream every Tuesday at The Kitchen Step. (All size dogs are allowed on the restaurant’s outdoor seating area).
SummerFest at Liberty State Park (Tuesday)
SummerFest takes place every Sunday and Tuesday evening at LSP during the month of August. Tonight’s free show will be headlined by Eliza Neals, who plays blues and rock.
Pride on the South Side (Wednesday)
Pride Month continues in Jersey City, and this week O’Leary’s Publik House is hosting a Pride on the South Side party. There will be life-size Connect Four, local artwork on display, and prizes courtesy of sponsors Hooked JC, 902 Brewing, Corgi Spirits, and O’Leary’s. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Hudson Pride Center.
La Festa Italiana (Wednesday through Sunday)
La Festa Italiana is one of our favorite Jersey City summer events. The 5-day party is a village tradition and a foodie’s dream with plenty of old-school Italian eats like Italian sausages, fried rice balls, and zeppoles.
Mini Pop-Up Market at Porta (Wednesday)
Celebrate hump day at Porta’s rooftop, which will be hosting a mini pop-up market from 5pm to 8pm. Vendors will include Beyond the Plate Food Tours, Scout & Supply, and more.
Würstbar 3-Year Anniversary Party (Thursday)
Würstbar is celebrating its 3-year anniversary with an epic bash. The bar will be pouring its Würst Cider II collab made with South Hills Brewing. They’ll also be pouring brews from Jersey City-based Mindful Ales. (You can read about Mindful Ales’ farmhouse brews here).
Wines of New Zealand at Satis Bistro (Thursday)
Sip on the Wines of New Zealand during Satis Bistro’s 4-course dinner and wine tasing. Featured vineyards include Tablelands Wine, Millton Vineyards, and Te Mata Estate. Tickets cost $75/pp.
Pride Weekend at The Lutze (Friday)
The Lutze is hosting its first ever Pride Weekend Party complete with drink specials and live entertainment. Even better, $1 from select sales will be donated to the Hudson Pride Center.
