SummerFest at Liberty State Park (Tuesday)
Get ready for a night of swing dancing. SummerFest takes place every Sunday and Tuesday evening at LSP during the months of July and August. Tonight’s free show is headlined by the Richard Reiter Swing Band.
5K Fundraiser Run at Pier A (Tuesday/Hoboken)
Party with Purpose is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization raising money for local children’s charities. This Tuesday they’re hosting a 5K Hoboken waterfront race along with a fun run for kids. Online registration is closed, but you can register on-site for $40/pp. Warm up is at 6pm, the race starts at 7pm, and there will also be an after party after the race.
Summer Dance Concert Series at Exchange Place (Wednesday)
The Summer Dance Concert Series brings live dance performances to the Jersey City waterfront. All of the events are free and held on Wednesdays at the J. Owen Grundy Pier from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This week’s performance comes courtesy of Nimbus Dance.
Liberty House All-American Cocktail Class (Wednesday)
Learn to make your own classic, all-American cocktails during the Liberty House’s latest cocktail class. Admission is $45/pp.
Sausage Fest at Zeppelin Hall (Thursday – August 4)
Feast on over 20 different sausage entrees — grilled over an open flame — during Zeppelin Hall’s Sausage Fest. The menu will include both classic entress as well as some exotic sausages. The festival will run through Sunday, August 4.
Ruth’s Chris Federalist Dinner (Friday)
Start your weekend with a TasteMaker feast at Ruth’s Chris Newport. As part of its TasteMaker Dinner series, tonight Ruth’s Chris will offer a 5-course dinner, cocktail, and wine pairing with Federalist Wines and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Dinner starts at 6:30pm and costs $80/pp.
