Yoga & Beer at Departed Soles (Wednesday)
The only thing better than feeling healthy is feeling healthy and enjoying a pint of beer. Have both at Departed Soles’ Yoga + Beer Session, which starts at 7pm. Admission is $10 and includes a fresh pint after the class.
Gringo’s Cactus Cantina (Wednesday)
Treat yourself to some tacos while enjoying a DIY class during Gringo’s Cactus Cantina Succulent Workshop. Admission is $25/pp and your ticket includes everything you need for the class — along with a complimentary drink.
Zeppelin Hall Whole Hog Festival (Thursday)
It’s time to pig out. Starting today, Zeppelin Hall is going whole hog with a special pig-based menu that includes 17 new entrees like Pulled Pork Bacon Mac & Cheese, Smoked Pork Rib Eye, and Pulled Pork Bahn Mi. The Whole Hog Festival ends March 11.
Open Mic Night at Whealth (Thursday)
Whealth Cafe is debuting its first Open Mic Night at its Journal Sqaured Cafe. Each performer will be given the floor for 5 minutes. There’s a 1-drink minimum for the event or a $5 donation. Doors open at 7:30pm.
Open Poetry Slam at Tea NJ (Thursday)
Want to rep Jersey City at the National Poetry Slam? Jersey City Slam is having an open mic night for the 2017-2018 season. Anyone can get on stage — the mic is open to poetry, music, or stand-up comedy. The free show starts at 7pm.
Learn the ins and outs of Bitcoin (Thursday)
Learn everything there is to know about Bitcoin at “Crytpo-Currently” — an evening devoted to the future of currency. The free event, which will be held at the Harborside Atrium, will include guest speakers and happy hour at Piggyback Bar.
New beer release at Departed Soles (Friday)
Departed Soles has teamed up with the Montclair Bread Company to debut Doughnut Soles — a new white stout that “has the aroma of a brioche donut, the heavy body of a stout, the appearance of a blonde, and subtle chocolate and coffee flavors.”
