Whealth Cafe’s First Annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony (Monday)
Join the Whealth family at their Journal Squared cafe for their 1st Annual Tree-Light Celebration. There will be hot chocolate, Xmas caroling, ornament making, and a toy/clothing drive for Feed JC. The Whealth Cafe is also celebrating its new hours, which now run through 8pm every weekday.
Indulge in exotic burgers and hotdogs at Zeppelin Hall (through December 31)
Zeppelin Hall is giving the classic hotdog and hamburger an international makeover with a new “Food Fight” menu that pits seven new hotdog variations against seven new burger styles. The menu includes items such as a Chicken Satay Dog, Texas Dog, and Dry Aged Burger.
Celebrate the end of Prohibition at Atlas (Tuesday)
Here’s a good reason to enjoy an extra round tonight. 84 years ago today the Prohibition era finally came to an end with the ratification of the twenty-first amendment. To celebrate everything boozy and delicious, Atlas is offering a special Repeal Day menu that includes $7 tapas and snacks. You’ll also be able to order Prohibition era classics like the Stinger, Sidecar, and old school martinis.
Delve into the future of tech and society at the year’s final Tech Meetup (Tuesday)
Peek into the future of tech and culture at Jersey City Tech Meetup’s final forum of the year. United Nations Special Advisor Radia Funna and TEDx vet Lisa Russell will be the guest speakers as they look ahead into the future of tech and how it will redefine the way we work, live, and interact with one another. The free event starts at 6pm and ends at 8pm with refreshments and networking.
Tree Lighting Ceremony at Newport (Tuesday)
Newport is about to transform into a Winter Wonderland. The 16th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony kicks off tonight at Newport Green. Guests will be able to take photographs with Santa, sing along to carols with the Definitely Dickens octet, ride the Santa Express train, and enjoy holiday-themed cookies and sweets.

Join Mayor Fulop at the Pedestrian Plaza for the official lighting of downtown’s Christmas tree and Menorah. There will be free refreshments and a photo opp with St. Nick himself. The ceremony starts at 6:45pm.
