The list of JC restaurants reopening continues to expand. This week, Battello, Dulce de Leche Bakery, Dullboy, Silvañas, and Miso Ramen are reopening. Plus, apparel store Morless also reopens on Wednesday.

Battello (502 Washington Boulevard): Waterfront restaurant Battello reopens on Thursday at 4pm for contactless takeout and delivery. (Preorders are now live). The restaurant is offering a prix-fixe menu ($42.50/pp) that will change weekly. It includes your choice of appetizer, entree, and pasta. The menu includes classics like chef Ryan DePersio’s ricotta gnocchi, as well as beer, cocktails, and wine. There’s also an option to add groceries and freshly made Battello pasta. (Menu)

Dulce de Leche Bakery (376 Central Ave & 6510 Bergenline Ave): The Argentine bakery has reopened both their Jersey City Heights and West New York locations. The bakery is open from 7am to 6pm. They’re only doing takeout at the moment, but online ordering is in the works. (Details)

Dullboy (pickup at Orale at 341 Grove): The cocktail bar and restaurant reopens today (Wednesday). They’re offering pickup and delivery out of both the Jersey City and Hoboken Orale restaurants. (Dullboy bar is still closed). However, their menu is available online and you can order bottled cocktails! Bottled cocktails are 16oz bottles that serve three. DIY kits are still available if you prefer more hands-on approach. (Website)

Sylvanas
Sylvañas

Sylvañas (pickup at Pokay Bowl at 283 Newark Avenue): Sylvañas is hosting its first ever virtual pop-up today (Wednesday) along with a brand new flavor announcement. Sylvañas are frozen stuffed cookies originating from the Filipino Sans Rival cake. They consist of a cashew meringue with buttercream frosting and chopped cashews in between. Sylvañas virtual pop-up will go live on Instagram from 4pm to 8pm today. You can pick up your treats in Sayerville, NJ, on Friday, May 22 or at Pokay Bowl in Jersey City on Saturday, May 23. Miso Ramen (189 Newark Avenue): The ramen shop reopened earlier this week. They’re open 7 days a week from 11:30am to 9pm. They’re offering to-go orders only. You can call ahead to place your order for pickup. (Details)

Morlees (160 Newark Avenue): Morlees has been a Jersey City staple since 1965. It was the first JC store with a Nike account and has served customers like Naughty by Nature, Queen Latifah, and Ludacris. They carry everything from Crocs to The North Face. The store will be open Wednesdays through Sundays from 12pm to 5pm. (Details)
