The wait is over! Bareburger is now open along the Jersey City Pedestrian Plaza. The burger shop soft opened at 143 Newark Avenue on Sunday, April 23. This is the burger chain’s first eatery in Jersey City. (There’s one in Hoboken at 515 Washington Street).
If you’re not familiar with the name, Bareburger offers a wide variety of grass-fed burgers. They also offer some non-traditional options like an elk burger and bison burger. The eatery places an emphasis on sustainability and vegetarians will be glad to hear that their menu also has some meatless burger. These include Impossible burgers and house-made black bean burgers. The Jersey City Bareburger also offers beer, wine, and cocktails.
Founded in 2009 in Astoria, New York, Bareburger has grown to 38 restaurants across the United States. It has locations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Ohio.
Bareburger Jersey City will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 11:30am to 9:30pm, Fridays/Saturdays from 11:30am to 10:30pm, and Sundays from 11:30am to 9:30pm.
