A user on JCList has noticed that Atlas Public House (formerly Monty’s) has launched its official website complete with menu and pricing. Per the website’s description, Atlas Public House will draw inspiration from Italy, France, Greece, Morocco, and all over the world. There will be a “world-driven” rotating wine and beverage list including 36 local craft beers.
The menu makes Atlas look like more of a restaurant than a bar — originally it was reported that Monty’s would be a sports bar — but without seeing the actual space it’s too early tell. A few menu items include Tandoori Spiced Lamb Ribs ($22), Lamb Kofta Burger ($16), Grilled Prawns ($15), and a North African Spiced Free Range Chicken Tagine ($19).
There’s no word on an opening date, although we at least know they’ll be open for the holidays.
Atlas Public House will be located at 130 Newark Avenue (just steps away from Downtown Yogurt). You can follow their progress on Facebook and Instagram. —JCList, Atlas Public House
