District Kitchen Jersey City is officially open inside the Harborside Atrium. The new food hall is part of Mack-Cali’s massive redesign of Harborside. It replaces the current food hall at 210 Hudson Street with 13 food vendors, including local favorites like Ani Ramen, Left Bank Burger, Modcup, and Salt & Seed.
Most recently, Baonanas soft opened its section inside District Kitchen.

In addition, the 12,750-square-foot space will also include a bar serving cocktails, beer, and wine. The bar will be managed by Mack-Cali.
Over the years, Mack-Cali has made significant tweaks to the dining scene at Harborside. This has included everything from the arrival of foodie events like Midnight Market and Whiskey Fest to the opening of the Lutze Biergarten.
Among Harborside’s biggest launches was Leah Cohen’s Piggyback Bar, which opened in Jersey City in the fall of 2017. Piggyback’s debut was quickly followed by the opening of another New York favorite, Ample Hills Creamery just a few blocks away from the Harborside Atrium.
District Kitchen Jersey City at Harborside will be open weekdays only from 7am to 7pm. The goal is to expand the food hall’s hours to eventually include weekend hours.
What’s the point of weekdays only… the real news would have been opening on the weekends … along with Ferry service outside. That’s what should be happening.
A lot of folks work in that area during the week, so it’s more options for them. (Some of the vendors were already there, but there are a few new ones like Ani and Left Bank). Agree abt the weekend. The plan is to eventually open on weekends as well from what I was told.
