Ani Ramen Continues to Expand in New Jersey
Cue your best DJ Khaled voice: Ani Ramen is opening another one. The beloved ramen shop is scheduled to open its first Maplewood restaurant (149 Maplewood Avenue) this September. Then in October, Ani Ramen will debut a ramen shop at the Munchies Food Hall inside the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford. Last but not least, Ani will open in Cranford (109 Walnut Avenue) by year’s end.
The Rooftop at Exchange Debuts Jersey-Centric Cocktails
The Rooftop at Exchange Place is celebrating the Garden State with a trio of new Jersey-inspired cocktails. The new cocktails include:
- Garden State: Hendrick’s Gin w/ fresh cucumber, elderflower, and lime
- Liberty Spike: Tito’s Vodka, Aperol, fresh orange juice, and Prosecco
- Jersey City Gentleman: Bonded rye, walnut liqueur, and orange bitters
- Under the Boardwalk: Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, coconut, pineapple, and lime
Whole Foods Weehawken Now Open
Whole Foods has arrived in Weehawken. The Amazon-owned, high-end grocer just opened Whole Foods Weehawken at 1400 Waterfront Terrace. Meanwhile, construction has yet to start at Whole Foods Jersey City. However, construction at Five Guys’ new spot next to Exchange Place is currently underway. New Five Guys signage recently went up at 101 Hudson Street, which will be Five Guys’ new home so that Whole Foods can take up their current space on Washington Street and Columbus.
