The 2020 All About Downtown Street Fair has been postponed.
“In light of recent circumstances surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to cancel the All About Downtown Jersey City Street Fair that was scheduled for September 26, 2020,” wrote the Historic Downtown Special Improvement District (HDSID) in a social media post.
In 2019, the street festival — which is organized by the HDSID — drew over 40,000 attendants and 200+ vendors. (An obvious red flag in today’s COVID-19 world). This year would have marked the street fair’s 10-year anniversary.
The All About Downtown Festival is the latest Jersey City event to be cancelled. It joins the long list of postponed summer events like the JC Pride Fest and Yoga Fest.
