Al fresco dining is coming to Corto. The neighborhood restaurant will open its backyard to diners the weekend of April 27.
The backyard will seat about 20 diners and will initially open for dinner on weekends, says co-owner Drew Buzzio.
Located at 507 Palisade Avenue, Corto specializes in rustic Italian dishes and has been a hit since opening last May.
Standout dishes at the BYOB restaurant include their signature Angry Chicken, made-from-scratch pastas, and their meat and cheese plate, which offers salumi and artisanal cheeses from New York’s Salumeria Biellese.
Corto recently added some new dishes to its summer menu. New starters include the Stuffed Italian Peppers, which are are roasted and filled with breadcrumbs, anchovies, and tomato. These Italian Long Hots can range from mild to spicy AF, but they’ve become one of our new favorite appetizers.
Stay tuned for more details on the opening of Corto’s backyard.
