A new Vietnamese restaurant just opened at 515 Jersey Avenue (off Columbus Drive).
Ai Pho & Vermicelli soft opened this weekend in the former home of Big Chef. Open seven days a week, the restaurant specializes in various pho soups ($10 to $11), which consist of broth, rice noodles, herbs, and meat. Ai Pho will offer beef, chicken, pork, shrimp/veggies, squid ball, and seafood options.
The restaurant is also serving rice dishes ($9 to $11) and vermicelli dishes ($10 to $15). Vegetarians will want to inquire about making substitutes as there don’t appear to be many veggie friendly dishes on the menu.
On the drinks menu, you’ll find durian shakes, avocado shakes, and bubble tea ($3 to $6). There’s no alcohol menu, but the restaurant is BYOB friendly.
