Whole Foods Jersey City is finally here. Sort of.
Amazon recently expanded its Prime Now delivery service to central and northern New Jersey (including Jersey City).
Prime Now is an Amazon Prime member perk that delivers Whole Foods purchases (and other select purchases) straight to your door in as little as an hour. Customers can shop online or via the Prime Now app for seafood, meat, produce, sushi platters, dog food, asparagus water, and more. The service launched earlier this year in select cities and only recently has it arrived in Jersey City.
Deliveries are made within the hours of 8am through 10pm seven days a week. You can even schedule the time of your delivery.
Not to be confused with Prime Pantry, which is a subscription service that costs $4.99 per month (in addition to your Prime membership), Prime Now delivery (2 hours or less) is free for Prime members on orders of $35 or more. Want your order in an hour or less? That’ll be a flat $7.99. Or you can pick up your order at a local Whole Foods for $4.99.
While it’s not the same as having a physical Whole Foods in Jersey City — for now — it’s as close as we can get.
For a limited time you can also use coupon “SAVE10WF” to take $10 off your first Prime Now order of $50 or more.
Let us know in the comments if you’ve used Prime Now for Whole Foods purchases and what you think of it.
