**Frankie Bar & Eatery, an Australian-inspired restaurant coming to the base of the Charles & Co. building, will open this winter, according to the Silverman blog. The restaurant is owned and operated by Rebecca Johnson and Rowen McDermott of The Fox and Crow. —Silverman

**NJ.com reports that 143 Newark Avenue, which was supposed to house 17 residential units as well as the new Hard Grove Cafe, will be demolished. The four-story building was damaged in 2014 and now its owners have filed a lawsuit against the excavation crew who they say allegedly damaged the building. —NJ.com
