**A new BBQ restaurant may be coming to Jersey City. A recent permit outside 8 Erie street mentions the installation of a “new kitchen and BBQ table” at the former Bell + Gray restaurant. The new permit — combined with Dale Talde’s professed desire to open a Korean BBQ restaurant — could indicate downtown is about to get its first Korean BBQ restaurant. (These restaurants traditionally have gas or charcoal grills built into their tables). Previously, it was rumored that Stephen Starr — of Buddakan and El Vez fame — had his eye on the space.
**Tory Burch isn’t the only high profile name moving to Jersey City. The New York Post reports that L’Oreal USA has leased 60,000 square feet at 111 Town Square Place for IT Cosmetics, a company it acquired in 2016. Meanwhile, Tory Burch officially signed a lease for a 93,000 square foot space at 499 Washington Blvd. —NYP
