Get ready to indulge your sweet tooth. Hoboken’s Crepe Guru is moving to Jersey City.
The Parisian-inspired shop is opening at 110 Bright Street (between Varick and Monmouth) in the former home of Banyan Cafe.
Whether you like them sweet or savory, Crepe Guru’s made-from-scratch pastries can be packed with anything from Nutella and strawberries to sliced ham and mozzarella. Their extensive menu will include a mix of chef’s choices as well as a DIY crepe option.
Although a final Jersey City menu hasn’t been finalized, on their online dessert menu you’ll find the Nutty Caramel Apple (warm apple pie filing cooked with cinnamon and topped with crushed walnuts, caramel, and vanilla ice cream); The Smores Crepe (melted marshmallows topped with crushed Graham crackers and covered in Nutella chocolate); and the New York Cheesecake (whole piece of NY Cheesecake centered and cooked inside a crepe, then topped with sliced strawberries and Nutella or Dark Chocolate).
The savory menu features various chicken, steak, and vegetarian crepes.
The best part is you won’t have to wait long for the Crepe Guru’s crepes. The shop will begin deliveries by May 15 and will open completely by June 1.
